Learning Inside and Outside the Classroom

Discovery and exploration are an important part of Stepping Stones philosophy and what better way is there to “discover” and “explore” than by taking a field trip! Nothing sparks a child’s imagination and love of learning quite like being immersed in an experience. Beginning in our Toddler Classroom, Stepping Stones hosts on-site interactive activities that enhance and bring to life weekly themes being explored in the classroom.

Our Early Preschool through School age children participate in off-site field trips to explore the world around them.

Special visitors in the classroom are wonderful way for kids to have a hands-on experience related to lessons they are learning in the classroom. Families are welcome and encouraged to share their time, talents and traditions in Stepping Stones classrooms.

Note: field trips typically incur an additional charge.
