Teacher Bio
Mrs. Lindberg, Kindergarten Teacher
Hello, my name is Mrs. Lindberg and I am the Kindergarten teacher at Stepping Stones Early Learning Center.
I enjoy teaching at Stepping Stones because it provides a great learning environment for children with small class sizes and excellent curriculum.
I began my teaching journey by teaching an Early Childhood class while I was in college. Then I graduated with my Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education from Minnesota State University of Mankato. After graduating I substitute taught all Elementary grades K-8. This was a great chance to experience children's learning at each grade level. The next school year I had the privilege of teaching both third and fourth grade in a combined grade class. This experience gave me a chance to perfect my classroom management skills and planning skills by balancing two curriculums in one school year. After teaching 3rd and 4th grade, I was married and moved closer to the Twin Cities.
The next year I taught at Fraser Academy, a charter school for children with special needs. At Fraser, I gained experience teaching children with autism, Down's syndrome and developmental delay. After teaching at Fraser I realized how much I enjoy teaching early elementary children and preschool children. Next, I taught a Pre-Kindergarten class at St. David's Early Childhood Center. Since that time I have had the pleasure of teaching Kindergarten at Stepping Stones. After all my experiences I found I truly enjoy the creativity and excitement for learning of the Kindergarten child.
