Every child has a unique schedule that is based on their stage of development and individual patterns. The teachers at Stepping Stones work closely with parents to design a specialized daily program for each infant. Additionally, teachers provide parents with a daily summary sheet detailing each infant's day. Regardless of individual programs, each infant will have the ability to interact and explore in a bright, safe, and caring environment.
The curriculum and activities in the infants & crawlers child care programs promote visual and sensory stimulation as well as cognitive growth through free play and exploration. We provide a loving and nurturing environment where teachers are responsive to each child's needs. This individualized attention helps develop a feeling of trust and security in the child.
Infants are stimulated throughout the day with music, song, and books. Our teachers use age-appropriate books and musical selections that are fun and friendly, help develop early language skills, and reflect a broad range of cultures and ideas.
Daily contact between parents and a child's teachers is an essential part of a high-quality early education program. The infants and crawlers teachers provide parents with daily sheets detailing their child's day. This informative feedback contains information about the child's mood, general behavior, food intake, elimination, and sleeping patterns. Stepping Stones provides all needed formula, diapers and wipes.
