Our Curriculum
Stepping Stones curriculum is an early childhood curriculum written and designed to engage children in developmentally appropriate activities.
Hands-on projects and center-based activities are designed to focus on the emerging skills of each individual child. Interactive activities help children develop a love for learning while they grow, play, and have fun!
Pinnacle Curriculum is designed into carefully thought out monthly themes. Within each month, weeks are broken down into sub-themes that contain relevant and meaningful content. Each week Stepping Stones teachers outline specific objectives to help facilitate learning in all domains: social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. A daily opportunity to participate in child-initiated activities creates more engaged learning, helping better prepare each child for the future. Using a multi-sensory approach to learning allows children to succeed no matter what their learning style may be.
Pinnacle Curriculum is an age-specific curriculum that provides structured lessons & activities for infants through school age children. Stepping Stones Infant & Toddler programs provide lessons that stimulate growth and development by incorporating activities into daily routines. The curriculum is based on a weekly format, allowing the teachers to choose several activities per day for each child. Stepping Stones Preschool programs follow a daily activity format that is specific to the educational & emotional needs, interests, and activity levels of each age group. School Age children are presented with opportunities to do projects, homework, or just relax in a fun, attractive, safe environment.
Stepping Stones students are presented with a variety of choices in activities which allows children to be in control of their learning!
